The limits of the numbers, sample data, comparisons, compliance notes and AI output you will find on this website and in the TapCub product, and how to report an error.

1. Sample data on this website
Every product interface shown on this website — dashboards, funnels, retention grids, chat inboxes, crawler ledgers, heatmaps — carries a "Sample data" label and shows illustrative numbers that we created for the layout. They are not the data of any real customer and are not a forecast of what your site will show. Consistent figures such as the 2,400 → 508 funnel or the 48,213 visitors recur across pages so the examples stay coherent; they do not describe anyone's traffic. Industry templates and solution pages use illustrative benchmarks to explain which metrics matter in a sector; they are not benchmarks for your business, and we do not publish industry averages derived from customer data.
Testimonial-style quotes on this site are scenario illustrations written from the point of view of typical users — a marketer, a product manager, a support lead — and are labelled "Not real reviews". They are not endorsements by real customers, and we publish no customer logos until we have permission to do so.
2. Accuracy of statistics
Web and app analytics are affected by browser privacy settings, ad blockers, network conditions, caching, bot activity and the heuristics used to separate humans from machines. Because TapCub is cookieless, "unique visitors" is an estimate that holds within a day and will differ from tools that rely on persistent identifiers. Figures in the product are intended for trend analysis and product decisions. They are not financial, legal or contractual evidence, and should not be used as the sole basis for revenue recognition, invoicing, or settlement with advertising partners.
Attribution figures deserve particular care. First-touch and last-touch models answer different questions and will credit different channels for the same order; channel ROI depends on the spend you import and on how completely click IDs survive redirects, consent choices and app-to-web hand-offs. Treat attribution as a comparison between channels measured the same way, not as the "true" cause of a sale. Likewise, bounce rate, time on page and session counts depend on definitions that differ between tools; the glossary states the definitions TapCub uses.
3. Bot and AI-crawler detection
Detection uses several layers — user-agent rules, request-header checks, client signals, network ownership and rate anomalies — with more than 197 rules that are updated continuously. False positives and false negatives are both possible. The crawler ledger keeps rows we were unsure about so you can judge for yourself; it is not proof that a given company visited your site or that it respected or ignored your robots.txt.
4. AI features
Natural-language answers, suggested and automatic chat replies, translations, automatic event names and anomaly explanations are produced by third-party language models. They can be incomplete, outdated or simply wrong, and may not reflect your business context. Review AI output before you act on it or show it to visitors; it does not constitute professional advice and we are not liable for decisions based on it. Automatic replies are always labelled as AI in the chat window.
5. Compliance content is not legal advice
Pages such as the privacy policy, the cookies page, why our chat widget starts without a banner, the privacy and security page, help articles and blog posts describe our implementation and our understanding of the rules that apply to it. They are not legal advice for your site, your industry or your jurisdiction, and reading them does not create a client relationship. Requirements differ between the EU, the UK, the United States, China and elsewhere, and change over time. Compliance of your website remains your responsibility; consult your own counsel.
6. Comparisons with other tools
Our comparison pages are written by category — traditional web analytics, product analytics platforms, enterprise analytics, traditional live chat — rather than against named products. Where a named product is mentioned, it is only in a factual migration context. Statements about other categories are based on publicly available documentation and pricing at the time of writing and may be out of date; the other vendor's own website is authoritative. We do not claim that TapCub is better for every use case.
7. Third-party names and trademarks
Names and logos of ad platforms, site builders, payment providers, notification channels and other third parties appear on this website only to indicate compatibility or integration. They remain the property of their respective owners, and their appearance does not imply sponsorship, partnership or endorsement of TapCub. TapCub and the TapCub logo are our marks.
8. Availability and changes
The Service is provided without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation except where a service level has been agreed in writing. Features, limits and prices described on this website can change; the pricing page and the changelog show the current state. Screenshots may show a version of the interface that differs from the one you see. Where this website says "about 2 KB", "7 platforms", "14 ad platforms", "10 industry templates" or "197+ rules", those figures were accurate on the "Last updated" date of this page and are maintained as the product evolves; the console and documentation are authoritative for the current numbers.
9. Pricing, quotas and earned rewards
Prices on this website are in US dollars and exclude taxes that may apply where you live. Plan limits, retention periods, the annual discount and the rules for earning free Pro time through referrals, traffic milestones and points are summarised for readability on the pricing page and in the terms of service; the console shows the values that apply to your account at the moment of purchase, and those prevail. Statements such as "unlimited" refer to the absence of a hard cap under fair use, not to infinite capacity. Payment-provider availability (Stripe, PayPal, Alipay, WeChat Pay) can vary by country and is confirmed at checkout.
10. Roadmap and forward-looking statements
Any mention of features that are "coming", "planned" or "in beta" — on the changelog, in the blog, in help articles or in conversations with our team — describes our current intentions, not a commitment. Timelines slip and priorities change. Do not purchase a plan on the basis of a feature that is not yet available; if a feature you depend on is not in the product today, ask us in writing before you buy.
11. Blog, help articles, glossary and free tools
Blog posts reflect the opinions and understanding of their authors on the publication date shown; they are not updated continuously, and market or regulatory facts in them may have changed. Help articles describe the product as it was when the article was last updated; the date is shown at the top of each article. Glossary entries give the definitions TapCub uses; other tools define the same words differently, which is one reason totals rarely match between tools. Free tools such as the UTM builder and the conversion and retention calculators run entirely in your browser and return arithmetic results from the values you enter; they do not validate your inputs against reality, and the AI crawler check shows how a robots file is interpreted, not whether a given crawler actually obeys it.
12. External links
Links to third-party websites, documentation and standards are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites, do not endorse their content, and are not responsible for their availability or their privacy practices. Follow their own terms when you use them. References to laws and court decisions reflect our understanding at the time of writing and are not a substitute for reading the source or asking counsel.
13. Your websites and your visitors
You are responsible for the content of the sites you measure, for the notices you give your visitors, for any consent your jurisdiction requires, and for what your team and your AI replies say in chat. TapCub gives you the tools — privacy presets, retention settings, consent records, deletion and export — but how you use them is your decision. In particular, switching a site to identification mode, calling identify with your own user IDs, or sending profile fields such as emails are choices that carry obligations under privacy law that only you can meet.
14. Languages and versions
This website and the product are available in English and Simplified Chinese, with more languages planned. We write each language version to carry the same information rather than translating word for word, so phrasing differs. Where a legal page exists in more than one language and the versions disagree, the English version prevails unless mandatory local law requires otherwise. If you spot a mismatch between languages, please report it.
15. Reporting an error
If a number, statement or comparison on this website is wrong or out of date, write to [email protected] with the page URL and what you believe is incorrect. We review every report, correct confirmed errors and, where appropriate, note the change on the page. Security issues should be reported the same way with "security" in the subject line; please give us a reasonable time to fix a vulnerability before disclosing it publicly.
