The visitors you see are people
Five detection layers and 197+ built-in rules split search engines, AI crawlers and scrapers from humans. We do not claim 100% accuracy — false positives can be marked as human.
- 01User-agentKnown bots and AI crawlers by name
- 02HeadersMissing or impossible client hints
- 03Client signalsNo JS, no interaction, headless traces
- 04ASN / IPHosting and scraper networks

Questions about website analytics
Still have a question?
Chat with the team behind TapCub — we usually reply within a few hours on business days.
How is this different from Google Analytics?
TapCub is cookieless, about 2 KB, and counts humans and bots on separate lines. You see the first numbers in a minute, usually without a consent banner for analytics in its default mode. Product analytics and live chat sit on the same account if you want them — they are not required.
Will it slow the site or hurt SEO?
The script is about 2 KB gzipped and loads asynchronously. It does not inject cookies or block rendering. Search engines are classified as bots so they never inflate human reports.
Does it track single-page apps?
Yes. History changes and most client-side navigations are captured automatically. You can still send named events when a business action needs a stable name.
How are bots identified?
Five layers — user-agent, headers, client signals, ASN and rate — plus 197+ built-in rules. Accuracy is not 100%; you can mark a false positive as human. AI crawlers get their own ledger.
Can I import history from another tool?
Data collected by another analytics tool is not imported into TapCub reports — they start on the day you install. Server-side events can be sent through the server API, and every report can be exported as CSV.
How long is data kept?
Free keeps analytics for 6 months, Pro for 12 months, VIP for 24 months. Chat history has its own retention. See the pricing page.
